Huawei Mate 10 Pro is another phone to beat iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in DxOMark camera rankings. iPhone 8 Plus scored 94 on the scoreboard and Galaxy Note 8 also scored the same. Google Pixel 2 was the first phone to score 98 and it is the highest score by any phone.

Huawei announced the Mate 10 series a week ago and boasted about it a lot. Interestingly, the Mate 10 Pro scored 97 on the scoreboard which is very close to the Pixel 2 score.
97 is the overall score for the phone, if we break it down, the Mate 10 Pro got 100 points for its photo performance and 91 points for video performance. It got 5 stars for its good details preservation and low noise levels, wide dynamic range and commendable detail at 2x zoom.
