The next smartphone in Honor X series is here. Huawei has officially introduced the Huawei Honor 7X and it is the first phone in the Honor X series to come with a dual camera and 18:9 screen.
Huawei Honor X series is a budget smartphone series from the world’s 3rd biggest smartphone brand. The Honor 7X is the latest addition to the series and it offers some unique features which were not present in the previous Honor X devices. The Honor 7X has a 5.93” display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160. The screen has a 2.5D glass over it which makes it look beautiful. The phone comes with 32/64/128 GB storage and 4GB of RAM. The internal memory is expandable by a Micro SD card up to 256 GB.
It comes with a Dual 16 MP + 2 MP main camera with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash. The front camera is 8MP and there is no front flash. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. The phone comes with HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset with Octa-core (4×2.36 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.
The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo soon. And keeping the previous track record of Honor X series in mind, it will also receive the Android P update next year. The phone still comes with the Micro USB port which is a drawback. It has a 3,340mAh which is enough to keep it running for a day and we are not sure if it supports flash charging or not. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back.
The phone will be available in Black, Blue, Gold and the price will start from CNY 1,300 (PKR 22,000).
