BEIJING: In a Sunday post on its official Weibo social media account, Huawei announced that it has discounted a range of high-end items, including mobile phones, by as much as 3,000 yuan ($411) on one of China’s top e-commerce platforms over the weekend.
According to the article, Huawei was one of several brands that participated in the JD.com “Super Brand Day” sale that began on Saturday night and ended at midnight on Sunday. The sale included discounted smartphones, headphones, watches, and tablets.
Massive Price Drop on Smartphones
Huawei is offering significant discounts on its flagship devices before the end of 2024. The “Super Brand Day” sale on JD.com in China, which began on Saturday, includes discounts of up to $274 on smartphones, tablets, wearables, and more. Some high-end devices, like the Pura 70 Ultra, have price cuts of up to 3,000 yuan ($411), with the 16GB variant of the Pura 70 Ultra discounted by 2,000 yuan ($274).
The Mate X5 foldable is also available with a 2,500 yuan ($342) discount on its standard variant. These discounts are available for a limited time on JD.com and VMall.
