Huawei has confirmed that P10 will debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain on February 26, 2017.
The video teaser doesn’t even show a glimpse of the phone. It just shows a line “Change the way the world sees you” with a hashtag and two eyes. The only thing that can be deducted from this cryptic teaser is that Huawei P10 will have dual-camera like Huawei P9 or P9 Plus.
As hinted by Huawei’s Twitter posts, the color variants for the handset are expected to be golden, blue, green, and white while “Black is so last season”.
There have been many speculations about the next Huawei smartphone. Some say that it’ll have two variants; Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus just like P9. Other rumors suggest that it will be 5.2 inches or 5.5 inches with HD display. The dual camera will be 12MP and front camera 8MP. GSMArena has stated two types of memories: 32/64 GB internal memory with 4 GB RAM or 128 GB with 6 GB RAM. The battery will be more powerful than that of Huawei P9 which has 3000 mAh Li-ion battery. One thing is for sure, the new flagship phone will run on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system. The price is expected to be between $500-$828.
Some big brands such as Sony, LG, Nokia, Samsung, Lenovo, Intel, HTC, Huawei etc., are expected to showcase new smartphones and other technologies at MWC. Nokia teased on Facebook about the possible announcement of new phones which may be Nokia P1 and/or Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 3310 and MIKA, first ever digital assistant for telecom engineers.
Well, we have to wait till MWC 2017 to see how far these rumors are true. We’ll keep you updated about the biggest mobile exhibition that is going to take place in Barcelona from Monday, February 27 to Thursday, March 2.
