HTC officially releases Desire 12 and Desire 12+

HTC has just released its mid-rangers with a beautiful design and 18:9 screen aspect. Desire 12 and Desire 12+ come with the similar design as HTC U11 and HTC U11+.

HTC Desire series was once offering flagships as well but since for the past few years, HTC has unveiled mid-rangers in the Desire series. With HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ the company plans to target the competitors with its good design and price.

HTC Desire 12 is the smaller version of the two models and HTC Desire 12+ is the bigger version. What the weird part is that HTC Desire 12 has no fingerprint sensor and comes with Android 7.0 out of the box unlike on the Plus model, which comes with Android 8.0 and a fingerprint sensor.

HTC has failed to attract people as it has not given something new in the market. The phones will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro USB port for charging. Desire 12 and Desire 12+ have their edges curved and the backs are made of an optimized glass with the acrylic surface, although it gives a different design to the classic aluminum of many mid-rangers out there, but HTC overall fails to grasp new customers.

HTC Desire 12 has three color choices which are Gold, Black and Silver and the pricing will be expected to be under 20,000 rupees in Pakistan. The HTC Desire 12+ will also come in three beautiful colors Gold, Black, and Silver. The price expected to be will be under 30,000 rupees in Pakistan.

We will have to wait for the official availability in Pakistan. After seeing the specs you might say HTC is not offering the most cutting-edge features, a powerful processor or even a high-end smartphone camera. With competitors like Huawei Mate 10 Lite , Samsung J7 Pro it is quite hard for HTC to turn the people towards there mid-rangers.
