Android is a highly customizable operating system. Manufacturers ranging from Samsung to Huawei, HTC and Sony, all have been tuning this operating system as per their respective needs. Huawei’s user interface EMUI, Samsung’s TouchWiz, and HTC Sense all bear great differences from the stock Android. Android also has also given a certain degree of freedom to its users to which they can customize their android experience. Some users only install custom launchers, while some users go on and root their smartphones for added freedom.
We already know what Android rooting really is. We have also told you about rooting your Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, and S5. Today, we will be talking about how can you root your Samsung Galaxy S6.
You can root your smartphones through many different ways. We will be rooting Android 5.0.2 (official firmware by Samsung) on Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F using ODIN and the widely trusted CF Auto-Root tool.

In order to enable the USB debugging mode follow these steps.
By default the Developer Options isn’t visible in Settings menu. You, however, can make it visible by following these steps.
You will be required to download the root package for your S6. The root packages are different for every variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6, depending on your region of purchase. In Pakistan, the model mostly is SM-G920F. But do follow the quick easy steps given below to check what model you really are on.
Now using the link download the root package for your SM-G920F. Extract the Galaxy S6 CF Auto Root package and save the files in a folder in your computer.
After downloading the firmware, you would need to download Odin
Before you finally go on to the next step, make sure that your device has sufficient battery backup in it. Also, deactivate any anti-virus program in your computer so that it does not disturb the process.
Open your smartphone in Fastboot mode by following these steps.
Once your device boots into the download mode, connect it to your computer using the original USB data cable.
After connecting your device, open the folder where you have extracted the Odin.
After sometime, your smartphone will reboot automatically, after which you can disconnect your smartphone from the PC. Check for the SuperSU application in the app drawer to confirm if your smartphone has succesfully be rooted or not.
