Here’s how you can check number of registered devices under your CNIC?

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) under its Device Identification, Registration and Blocking System’s (DIRBS), has started blocking non-approved and unregistered devices in Pakistan. Here in this story, we will tell you how simply you can check the number of registered devices under your national identity card.

PTA has recently given Pakistanis the option of a USSD code to let users register their devices by simply dialing *8484#. You might have wanted to know if any other smartphone is currently registered under your CNIC with PTA?

Below we have mentioned a step by step guide for how to check the number of registered devices you have on your Computerized National Identity Card Number (CNIC).

1: Dial *8484# on your smartphone/tablet

2: Choose the option ‘4’ if you want to know the number of devices registered on your CNIC.

3: Select ‘1’ if you are a Pakistani (Local/International Traveler/Dual Nationality Holder).

4: Enter your CNIC number. Make sure to double check your ID number before submitting. Do not use ANY special characters such as ‘–’ .

5: Reply with ‘1’ to complete the process. If you are not sure about any of the details provided then reply with ‘0’ and start the process all over again.

As a result, you will receive a message that your request has been submitted to PTA, upon processing confirmation message will be sent.

Afterward, all the details will be provided to you through an SMS from 8484.
