How to be a Google search power user

Stop for a minute and think what your life would be like if there had been no Google. Imagine looking up answers in an 800-page book. But now you just type your question on Google and it gives you all the relevant answers. However, there is still room for improvement in your Google search skills. We came across this brilliant infographic that will help optimize your search results.
For instance the other day, one of our team members was solving a crossword and for some reason got stuck on a synonym for the motive. So I googled ‘motive’ and the top search result was a TV Series called Motive. In order to remove unnecessary search results, you need to use the ‘— ‘ operator. So when she typed ‘Motive -movie’ it showed her the relevant results. Although, if you attach ‘define’ with the word you’re searching for, shows the synonyms on the first page.
These functions are sure to help anyone and everyone who uses the internet, whether you use it for recreational, professional or educational purposes. These can especially be useful to university students who spend copious amounts of time and energy stressing on finding research material, but end up pulling their hair out.
These are only a few of the many tips. Read on to get some tricks up your sleeve!
