Last year Groopic and Tunacode got selected for The Blackbox Connect Program. This spring, there are two new startups that will travel to Silicon Valley as a part of the Blackbox Connect Program. Among the selected startups is The Appography, a startup under the Plan9 banner. The startup aims to turn IVR system into interactive visual and touch experience, completely transforming the user experience. It is worth noting that the startup has already received 30 million from UK investors.

Another startup is SMSall, led by Idrees Butt. The startup has gained attention over the past few months because of the convenience it offers. The startup also featured on our list of Top Android Application by Pakistani Developers.

The Blackbox Connect is an immersion program by Google where non Us Startups get a chance to visit The Silicon Valley and interact with experienced entrepreneurs. It is a great opportunity for Pakistani startups to understand how businesses operate in the industry.
