The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), recently announced an international scholarship opportunity for undergraduate and post-graduate studies offered by the Government of Brunei Darussalam.
This scholarship is applicable to three universities. The University Brunei Darussalam which is ranked in the top 1 percent in Asia, University Islam Sultan Shariff Ali and University Technology Brunei. All these universities provide a range of educational fields which attracts students from all over the world and from different departments.
The University Brunei Darussalam has recently been granted patents which are working towards improving technology and initiating cutting-edge research that could have commercialization opportunities. It’s recent Robocon team developed a robot that could maneuver a route and perform certain tasks and currently the team is developing another robot but due to technological constraints they require new fresh minds, hence are very keen on the scholarship that could bring in potential people and be a part of the project.
The University of Technology Brunei currently has one of the top Civil Engineering department. The University recently signed a Satellite Partnership with 4 other local institutions in order to open up more research and study pathways for students.
This scholarship will not only just cover tuition but it will also cover transport, residential, books and meal costs and will provide monthly allowance as well. It is a brilliant opportunity for deserving students going through financial constraints.
Candidates between the ages of 18-25 are eligible to apply. Students with 3rd division are not applicable and only one 2nd decision is allowed. Hence, truly well deserving and hardworking students will be considered for this scholarship who will be able to maintain their grades and keep the scholarship. The deadline to apply is 20th February so all those interested are advised to start as soon as possible.
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan will be handling the application process and will be available for any sort of help students require.
