In a landmark roll-out of service, HBL has now started giving out instant loans to those who need it through a touch on its mobile application.
HBL has now become the first ever commercial bank of Pakistan which is providing seamless access to different type of loans. The service which could be accessed using the HBL Mobile application now eases users to get instant loans on a touch of their fingertip. In the starting phase, the service has been made available to selected salaried customers across Pakistan exclusively through HBL Mobile. The loan options can be up to PKR 500,000.
HBL very recently revolutionized the web and mobile application interfaces for its users too. Continuing with its efforts to using technology to provide solutions to the existing problems, HBL is now leveraging the updated platforms to ease their users. Applying for loans and their processing was previously used to be a lot tedious process involving a lot of paperwork. Now, once placed, the loans are processed automatically and are usually taken care off within a day’s time period.
Throwing light as to why this was important, Mr. Aamir Kureshi, Head for Global Consumer Banking at HBL mentioned, “HBL is pleased to give unparalleled convenience to its customers by digitizing loan approval and disbursal. The entire process is paperless, and the loan can even be disbursed within minutes. The customer response has been extremely encouraging so far and we have disbursed over 1000 loans in less than 30 days of the launch.”
The registration process for the application and the loans is very seamless and could be done right from the smartphone’s interface. Install the official HBL Mobile Banking application for your Android devices from Google Play Store and for your iOS devices from the Apple Store.
Considered one of the first commercial banks to have established in Pakistan, soon grew to one of the country’s largest private sector bank with over 1,700 branches, 2,000 ATMs globally and a customer base of more than 11 million people. HBL also hasn’t left any stone unturned when it comes to facilitating consumers. The bank provides facilities like card-less ATMs, value-added services using the face-lifted mobile application.
