In its effort to facilitate its consumers by removing the hassle of paperwork and hectic branch visits, Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is now offering credit cards through its mobile app. This makes HBL the first Pakistani bank to achieve this remarkable feat. HBL customers can now easily avail this service with just four taps on their smartphones.
‘HBL Credit Card via the mobile app’ is the newly introduced paperless feature which will allow customers to apply for their credit cards using smartphones. The approval for an HBL credit card application is given within 24 hours which is faster than any previously practiced conventional methods.
Here are some simple steps to follow in order to avail your credit card via mobile app.
It must be noted that for the initial stage the service is made available only to a select group of customers across Pakistan, and it is exclusively accessible through HBL Mobile app.
While elaborating on this frictionless digital application process, AamirKureshi, Head-Global Consumer Banking-HBL said;
“The launch of HBL Credit Cards through HBL Mobile is an industry first and yet another digital innovation to make life easier for our customers. Through the HBL mobile app, we can now provide our customers with a more efficient and paperless option for meeting their consumer financing needs. As the largest bank in Pakistan, our digital channels are helping us get closer to our customers in innovative ways.”
HBL has been taking innovative steps to provide more digital leisure to its 14 million customers across the globe. Late last year, HBL launched ‘Personal Loans’ via the HBL Mobile app and the response from the customers has been very encouraging. Until now, HBL has approved over PKR 3 billion in loans.
Meanwhile, HBL Mobile app has emerged as a safe and convenient way of banking with HBL. Customers can perform all transactions online such as bill payment, funds transfer, online shopping and buying movie tickets, etc., whenever and wherever they want with the help of a smartphone.
