Google search box can now translate Urdu scripts written in Roman Urdu and Hindi

Google has been incorporating many new features to make the search engine more useful and valuable to the users. Keyword search, time, length, weight and many other conversions, maps, meanings and pronunciations of words, addresses, contact numbers, flight schedules, blogs, google drive and many more.

We are all well-acquainted with the ‘Google Translate’ feature. You just have to type a word and google can translate it to any language of your choice.

Google has recently added Roman Hindi translation feature to its search algorithm. As roman Hindi and Roman Urdu are quite similar, so people, in both India and Pakistan, can avail this feature.

Here is how it works:

If translation from Urdu to English doesn’t work for you then you can also try ‘translate Hindi to English’.
Pakistanis are not much in approval of “Hindi-detected” thing but it is just a beginning. Soon Google will incorporate ‘Urdu’ too. Until then, it is pretty handy solution to the problem of searching specific word in specific language to get it translated into English. You can now just click on Google, write Roman Urdu, and there you go!
