Never a dull moment in Pakistani politics.
A twitterati has shared a screen grab of internet speed test and there are a few things noticeable.
For the uninitiated, selecting a server during speedtest means which server we will talk to during the internet speed test. For other online activities, we are talking to different servers.
We quickly went to speedtest website and checked for ourselves. Indeed there is a server named Go Nawaz Go and it links to a Facebook User ‘Abeer Jafri’. The profile doesn’t have any information on the whereabouts of this guy but apparently, he is the one who is hosting this server.
This is not the first time netizens are displaying their support or disapproval for a political party. In the past, we have seen cricketers and politicians being sold for a dime at eBay. We have also witnessed Wikipedia wars in which political figures’ biographies were changed to show disapproval.
