Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are the most anticipated smartphones of the South Korean tech giant. Earlier rumors suggested these flagships might be unveiled during the CES 2017 in January 2018, however, the new report from Bloomberg reveals a different story. The report says that the phones will be launched by the end of February and will be released at the beginning of March next year.
As the Mobile World Congress, MWC 2017 is all set to roll out in Barcelona from 26th of Feb till the 1st of the March, so it is likely that Samsung may launch its flagships, taking advantage of the coverage at the event. The report further indicates that S9 and S9 Plus will be released in the initial weeks in March 2018, and will go on sale during the same month.
According to the report, the upcoming phones will be quite similar to the current Galaxy models but will include upgraded camera systems. The camera update could be slightly focussed on aperture and modes instead of increasing Mega Pixels capacity.
Another report with leaked images by Sam Mobile is surfacing the internet claiming that the Galaxy S9 variants may feature a single rear camera.
Chances do exist that both S9 variants may feature larger batteries than their predecessors. As the 5.8-inch Galaxy S9 shouldn’t be completely void of any improvements other than the usual add up to specs that we expect from every new flagship. There could be more internal storage as Samsung is up to developing 512GB memory chips.
