The anticipation of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is soon going to end, as the upcoming flagships will be made official by the end of next month. As the date of the unveiling is coming closer, more rumors and leaks are being cited on various online platforms. Well, a new leak of Galaxy S9+ has surfaced and we have all the good reasons to believe it. It doesn’t mean that the leak closer to unveiling date is always legit, however, the solidity of a leak depends upon how closely it is connected with previously told facts. As of now, the new leak has surfaced and it has revealed the whole back design of the upcoming Galaxy S9+.
The leaked images of Galaxy S9+ have appeared on Slashleaks, revealing the big design change of the upcoming flagship of Samsung’s S-series. So, here’s the catch the off-center fingerprint scanner from last year’s Galaxy S8 is now centrally located, beneath the camera setup. Galaxy S9+ will feature a dual camera setup on the back. The design change is neither big for the smartphone industry, nor for Samsung, as the last year’s Galaxy Note 8 already features dual rear cameras. However, this hardware change is big for Galaxy S-series users as they are getting this feature for the first time.
Other than that, Galaxy S9 variants may not be having any notable hardware differences, except for those we have already mentioned. The leak also reveals the front design of the phone. The same infinity display design will be used on the front of the new phones, which consists of a large Super AMOLED screen that occupies more than 80% of each phone’s face. The handsets will also feature glass on the front and back that curves at the sides, allowing the phones to sit more comfortably in the hand.
The MWC is going to happen from 26th of Feb to March 1, and this will be the time, Samsung will be unveiling its beasts Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, the phones will be released a couple of weeks later after the event, and it is expected to be launched on March 16th.
