Who could forget the worst nightmare Samsung faced with its Galaxy Note 7 due to its exploding batteries? It appears that Note series of Samsung has been cursed by black magic. As of now, many Galaxy Note 8 users are reporting a strange issue relating to the device’s charging.
According to the Galaxy Note 8 users, their devices are unable to turn on or charge once the battery hits 0% by chance. The issue has been reported on Reddit and later on Piunikaweb, firstly covered it. Once the battery of the Note 8 drops down at 0%, the device refuses to turn on or charge. However, the issue is limited to certain units and it’s not widespread.
Some of the Note 8 users have tried different methods to charge the device i.e. different cables and charger, hence concluded that the phone is faulty. A Samsung’s representative from Samsung US forum said that we are aware of the problem and will address it soon. As he says,
“This particular problem with the Note 8 not turning on is definitely something that we want to get addressed immediately”
As of now, almost all Galaxy Note 8 phones from all the carriers including Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Sprint are facing the same problem. The issue is serious, but it’s not widespread, so it’s likely that Samsung will be resolving this problem immediately.
Almost a year ago, Samsung was left with no option else to recall Galaxy Note 7, after reports from many users that its battery explodes.
