Galaxy Note 10 to come with quad-rear camera set-up and 5G support

According to latest rumors by SamMobile, the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 will come with four rear cameras and 5G connectivity.

It hasn’t been even a week since the launch of Galaxy S10 and rumors have started coming in for the Galaxy Note 10 which is set to be released later this year. Amid rumors in 2018 that the Note 10 would be discontinued owing to the disappointing sales of Samsung flagship devices the Galaxy Note 10 is alive and may very well be on its way in August. Code-named, ‘Da Vinci’ the upcoming Note 10 is expected to feature a quad-camera set-up along with 5G chip. The Note 10 will also feature a monstrous 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with the same punch-hole design as seen the S10 devices.

It should be mentioned that the upcoming Note 10 is not the first Samsung device to feature a quad-camera set-up. In the recent Samsung event, the South Korean partially unveiled its new S10 5G which similar to Note 10 has a Quad-camera set-up and 5G embedded chip. However, due to the lack of 5G connectivity around the world, Samsung has delayed the launch of their S10 5G to the Q4 of 2018. So it is safe to say that the Note 10 might have two variants, a regular one and a 5G version which will only be available later in the year.

The electric S-pen

Furthermore, another interesting rumor about this upcoming Note 10 is a new kind of James Bond-esque stylus which will feature a built-in camera. Yes, you heard that right, as per rumors the upcoming Note Pen might feature a small built-in camera. The design of this stylus was patented back in 2017 and was reported by Patently Mobile which described the S-pen as an “electric-pen device”.

Samsung in 2018 added some extra functionality to its S-pen where the stylus acted as a long-range shutter button. According to speculations by various tech-enthusiasts Samsung’s next-gen stylus could replace the front-facing camera altogether for the full-screen display, according to a patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. However, it’s still unclear whether the consumers will witness such an engineering marvel this year. In fact, there is a high probability that it might not feature in this year’s Note device since the rumors are not from credible sources.
