The powerful gaming smartphone of the Xiaomi’s daughter company BlackShark is set to be unveiled on April 13. And on the top, you are looking at the first live image of the smartphone courtesy of the Chinese social media Weibo.
BlackShark’s upcoming phone has surfaced online revealing the rear-side design of the phone. Unlike most of the smartphones launching these days, the Blackshark comes with a rugged design much like the Galaxy S active series phones.
The smartphone seems to be having a rugged casing on the rear side with ‘Black Shark’ written on it. We can also see the dual-rear cameras, LED flash down below the branding case. For a gaming smartphone, the Xiaomi Blackshark design and build is very unusual. It seems to be also having cooling vents, and it makes sense since it a gaming phone. It also comes green color similar to the Razer phone’s accent.
The phone also might pack add-on accessories on top, which should offer Nintendo Switch like joystick experience. Since the phone doesn’t have a slim profile, we’re sure it will be packing a massive 4000mAh battery. It might also have IP68 certification with water and dust resistance. Going by the teaser image that the company posted earlier, the phone is likely to have an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo, 2160 x 1080 FHD+ 18:9 display and is rumored to come with a 120 Hz.
