Windows XP was one of the most used operating systems ever. Windows Vista was its successor but it could not do well in the market and Windows 7 had to come to rescue the Windows operating system.

Mozilla Firefox stopped the mainstream support for the Windows XP and Vista back in March. End of mainstream support means that Firefox stopped receiving versions upgrades in March. It now only gets the security updates and bug fixes and will not see a new feature again. But now that is also changing as Mozilla has announced that it is completely ending the support for Firefox in June 2018. Which means that Firefox will not even receive security updates after June 2018. So it is the right time to upgrade to Windows 10.
“As one of the few browsers that continues to support Windows XP and Vista, Firefox users on these platforms can expect security updates until that date. Users do not need to take additional action to receive those updates,” Mozilla says.
Firefox originally planned to stop the updates for Firefox in September 2017, but the company has been very generous and extended the support until June next year. You should not expect it to extend the support even more and move to a newer version of Windows.
