Facebook Snooze will temporarily hide people from your news feed

Facebook is testing a new feature which will let you temporarily snooze updates from specific friends or pages.

Facebook always keeps bringing new updates to improve user experience and it is going to bring another useful feature called “Snooze”. Snooze will let you temporarily mute news feed from a friend or a page. Currently, you can only unfollow someone which will permanently hide that person or page from your news feed.

So instead of unfollowing that person permanently, you can hide that person’s update for a temporary period of time. You can mute for 24 hours, a week, or for a complete month. And after the unfollow period, news from that page or person will start appearing on your news feed again.

Snoozing someone is very easy. You just have to press the 3 dots button on the right of the name of page or friend and select the snooze. It will then ask you the period of time you want to snooze that person or page.

The feature is currently under testing phase and is accessible to only a few people for now. You might have to wait for a few weeks to get the feature.
