In recent news, Facebook is investing nearly $1 billion in order to further incentivize creators to make content for Facebook and Instagram. Already both platforms are popular due to their never-ending content of videos, images, and posts on the respective platforms. However, CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg is working hard to ensure that content creators remain connected to Facebook and Instagram through the concepts of incentives.
This new incentive method is called ‘Bonuses’ which is aimed at rewarding content creators whenever they generate and publish new content on the respective social media platforms. However, payment will only be eligible when certain milestones are achieved.
Once the bonuses program is properly launched, creators will be able to see how much money they can earn through the app. It is a win-win for both the content creators and for the company.
In addition, the first round of Instagram bonuses will only work via invites and creators would have to place IGTV Ads in their videos in order to get more incentives and will be rewarded for hitting milestones in Live Videos.
This feature is expected to arrive this summer on both Instagram and Facebook.
