Facebook is testing a new WhatsApp button in its mobile app

Facebook has found a new way to keep users from leaving its app ecosystem. Now the company is testing a new WhatsApp button in its main mobile app.

The button is placed at the top of the Newsfeed and pressing it will take you to WhatsApp without leaving the Facebook app. The feature is being rolled out to a limited number of users now. If you are among the lucky ones, you’ll see the button on the Newsfeed section of your Facebook mobile app. Other users might have to wait for a few weeks to get the update.
