In a news that has taken the internet by storm, Facebook has bought Whatsapp for a whopping 19 billion USD. Whatsapp is a tremendously popular application with it’s users all over the world. The multi-platform application has almost 450 million active users. This means that on average Facebook is paying 42$ per user. It is interesting to note that, 4 years ago Founder of Whatsapp Brian Acton had to face disappointment, when he was turned down by Facebook.
