Every year CES brings impressive new products with new technological breakthroughs in the field of smart appliances and AI. Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Convention center, “Samsung City”, has become a must-see site for many tech-enthusiasts. Samsung in this year’s CES shared some exciting new technology in the field of smart TVs, smart appliances, laptops, and robots.
Many of Samsung’s 2019 appliance will come with better Bixby integration, users will now be able to automate common household tasks. For example, Bixby will now help the Samsung’s new Air Dresser select optimal setting for treating the clothes while also guiding users to find the perfect cycle to finish their laundry.
Samsung has always been the king of display technology, and this year’s CES seemed no different as the South Korean giant kicked off CES 2019 with a number of innovative displays which show how Samsung is looking to lead the display technology. The most exciting product by Samsung was the 98-inch 8K QLED TV which is the biggest 8K TV by Samsung, surpassing last year’s 85-inch 8K TV. The 98-inch technology marvel supports HDMI 2.1 and is able to upscale the content to take advantage of extra pixels.
Another highlighting display of technology in this year’s CES by Samsung was the new gaming monitors. Samsung unveiled its new, 49-inch “CRG9 gaming monitor” while optimizing it with gamers’ needs in mind. The stunning monitor has very impressive specs, which includes
The biggest announcement in the PC category by Samsung was its Notebook 9 Pro with premium hardware and flagship specs. Furthermore, the South Korean giant also introduced a gaming laptop, “Notebook Odyssey” which has a GeForce RTX card. The specs are not available at the moment but will be in a short while.
Samsung in total showcased three different robots in this year’s CES ranging from care to retail.
The retail bot offers better payment solutions as it streamlines ordering and payments and offers a personlized retail experience. The Care Bot is a healthcare-specialized robot which helps in measuring user’s blood pressure, heart rate, sleeping rate, and respiration. Finally, the Air Bot is equipped with different sensors and helps detect the precise source of pollution and purifies the air.
