English Vlogger Declares This Pakistani Dish the Best in the World

Digital content creator and English travel vlogger Harry Jaggard has been exploring and tasting regional cuisines from around the world.

He uses his funny videos to teach people about different cultures while showing them delicious meals. In his most recent video, he talks about his trip to Pakistan and tries nihari, a very popular dish.

He said, “Pakistani nihari is usually served with naan or paratha. Nihari was originally a dish served to royalty in the Mughal court and was eaten early in the morning after the Fajr prayer.”

Jaggard was so impressed by the nihari’s tastes that he gave it a perfect score of 9.0 out of 10. He also said, “I’m going rate this Nihari 9.6 out of 10.”

Nihari, what is it? Nihari is an Indian stew from the city of Lucknow. It was very popular in the 18th century during the Mughal Empire. Meat is slowly cooked to make nihari. Most of the time, people use lamb, beef, or mutton. Additionally, people in Pakistan and Bangladesh like to eat nihari with naan, which is a type of flatbread.

In addition to nihari, Harry sampled various dishes from around the world. He rated Khichi from India a commendable 9.3, Turkish Kebab from Turkey at 9.2, Afghan Grill from Afghanistan a notable 9.5, and Masgouf from Iraq also received a score of 9.3.

These scores show the wide range of tasty foods that are available around the world, but Nihari stood out during his tasting trip. There are a lot of well-known places in Pakistan where you can try nihari.

The house of Muhammad Nihari in Lahore, Javed Nihari (from Karachi), Majeed Nihari (Rawalpindi), and Al Qamar Nehari (Multan).

Harry is constantly on the hunt for the finest national dishes, and his enthusiastic praise for Pakistani nihari is sure to inspire more people to give this delicious dish a try.
