In recent news, the Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood, has introduced an e-portal for the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) and its respective mobile application.
As IBCC is the official body that grants equivalence certifications for foreign qualifications, the Minister mentioned that this e-portal and mobile app will digitalize the entire process of equivalent certificates. This includes submissions of educational documents, challan fees, and more.
Through this e-portal, students will be able to track the status of their applications and receive their certificates at their doorstep. Upon mentioning the respective features of the portal, the minister highlighted this as a ‘revolutionary step’. However, those students who can not avail of these facilities can still opt for the manual method.
