The e-Rozgar freelancing program which is a joint venture of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Youth Affairs, Sports, and Archeology & Tourism (YASAT)’s, has trained over 9,000 unemployed graduates who have earned 100 million rupees through freelancing.
In the current session, the e-Rozgar program received more than 13,000 fresh applications while the program overall has received more than 90,000 applications. The shortlisted candidates will be given 3 months of free training in their selected domain which includes Creative Design, Technical and Content Marketing & Advertising areas. There are expert trainers available for every domain to provide the necessary instructions to the candidates.

Currently, there are 26 centers operational across the province of Punjab in various universities and educational institutions which have the latest facilities like duly equipped labs, etc. There are dedicated centers for women candidates as well while more than 9,000 candidates have been trained so far.
The aim and vision of the e-Rozgar freelancing program are to facilitate young graduates by providing them training and career development opportunities in the province of Punjab. This will further minimize unemployment rate in Punjab and create earning opportunities. This program also aims to provide people with the necessary means to earn an honorable living in Pakistan.
PITB has been working tirelessly for the betterment of Pakistan. Recently, the technology board has signed an MoU with the IT Department of Balochistan to provide technical assistance and to recreate all of its flagship projects in the province. The projects will include e-Khidmat Markaz, e-FOAS, HRIMS and the latest smart system to monitor the progress in the development projects.
