The e-Rozgaar program started by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has opened its admissions for the batch of 2019. Students or unemployed individuals who have the domicile of Punjab province or a CNIC and have completed 16 years of education can apply for this program. Also, the person applying for this program should not be more than 35 years of age.
The e-Rozgaar is a training program which provides freelance training to students for earning through the internet and to empower the young graduates and unemployed people in the province. These training sessions enable these youngsters to work from anywhere and anytime. The programs being offered for training include content marketing and advertising, technical, and creative design.
To enroll yourself in this program you have to apply online via e-rozgaar’s website, and appear for the online entrance test. The shortlisted candidates will then be asked to submit documents online and get them verified at relative centres. The selected candidates will then be given three months of training free of charge, in their selected domains from expert and master trainer at their selected centres.
The PITB e-Rozgaar initiative has so far received more than 100,000 applications in total for all the past batches and has trained over 9,000 unemployed graduates who have earned 100 million rupees through freelancing. This program is a joint venture of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Youth Affairs, Sports, and Archeology & Tourism (YASAT)’s.
With the increase in the unemployment rate in the country it is necessary for the government and other departments to follow PITB’s footsteps and initiate such training programs so that young graduates and all other unemployed people can work and earn through their homes.
