Dell is refreshing its entry-level gaming Inspiron 7000 series laptops with the new Nvidia GTX 1050 GPUs. The refreshed lineup will also come with Intel’s 7th generation CPUs.
Dell is tweaking the design of 7000 series laptops a bit by taking inspiration from its Alienware gaming laptops. The new Inspiron laptops feature design aesthetics similar to the more expensive gaming rigs. Along with the familiar red accent around the keyboard and dell logo, the laptop will now also feature prominent heatsinks to make sure the internals remain at normal temperatures even during sessions of hardcore gaming.
The base model will start from $799 (about 84,000 Pakistani Rupees) and includes a 1080p display with 8GB RAM, GTX 1050 and Intel i5-7300HQ. The laptop will start shipping to retailers worldwide from 5th January.
