LAHORE: The ‘Maryam Ke Dastak’ initiative, which provides more than 70 government services, has been extended to 40 districts across the province as per the instruction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
This was revealed on Monday during a meeting to monitor progress that was chaired by Faisal Yousaf, chairman of the PITB. Maryam Ke Dastak is a government service that provides e-stamping, copies of police reports, birth certificates, learner’s licenses, and domicile certificates using the PITB-developed ‘Dastak Doorstep Delivery App’ and web page.
These services can now be conveniently delivered to citizens’ homes, making it easier for everyone—particularly working professionals, the elderly, and women—to access government services without leaving the comfort of their own homes. You can also narrow your search to a single Tehsil in addition to cities and districts. Additionally, citizens can access these services by dialing the toll-free number 1202.
“The Maryam Ke Dastak initiative aims to improve service delivery through trained representatives, providing a more efficient and citizen-friendly experience,” Chairman Faisal Yousaf said at the event. In his last remarks, he said that the initiative demonstrated the government’s dedication to open and honest public service.
If you have an Android device or an iPhone, you can easily get the app from the relevant app stores.
