Daraz is bringing World’s Biggest Sale to Pakistan

The popular e-commerce company, Daraz, has announced 11.11 – World’s Biggest Sale Day for Pakistan. With sponsors like Unilever, L’Oreal, P&G, Nestle, Mi, and Pel, onboard, customers can expect a truly personalized and supercharged lineup of activities. Habib Bank Limited also joins the sale as the main financial partner of Daraz. Aspiring to be a game-changer for regional e-commerce, Daraz 11.11 is a first of its kind event.

Daraz’s parent company, Alibaba, kickstarted 11.11 – numeric for November 11th, in 2009 as Asia’s answer to the western Black Friday. After a decade, the flagship sale is ready to inaugurate in Pakistan. The one-day event drives unequaled sales numbers, four times that of Black Friday. Customers can look forward to unimaginable mega deals, flash sales, thousands of brand vouchers, mystery boxes, discounts from banks, giveaways and more.

The mega sale event will be a major activity after the launch of the revamped Daraz App. It will also be the biggest sale launched by the e-commerce company. Managing Director Daraz Pakistan, Ehsan Saya, shared his thoughts on the upcoming flagship sale,

11.11 is poised to make e-commerce and mobile app history. Once you experience what the Daraz App has in store for you, everyone will be able to draw a line in the sand and say: that was Daraz before 11.11. This is Daraz after 11.11. It will mark a paradigm shift. 11.11 is about more than just deals and discounts – it will bring our entire digital ecosystem into play, fusing A.I, entertainment, algorithm-assisted personalization, and access to an assortment more than 2 million products deep – all in one.

Daraz was founded in Pakistan in 2012 and has since grown into the most popular online shopping destination in the country. Today, the company operates online marketplaces in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Earlier this year, it was acquired by Alibaba to become a member of Alibaba group. With the acquisition, Daraz is now leveraging Alibaba’s leadership and experience in technology, online commerce, mobile payment, and logistics to drive further growth in the South Asian market.
