Daraz Gyara Gyara generates excitement across the country

Daraz Gyara Gyara (11.11), the world’s biggest sale, which has been generating excitement across the country, went live at 12 am on November 11th. The 11.11 sale offers discounts worth Rs 50 crores and carries a strong entertainment element that is driving significant customer engagement. Gyara Gyara goes beyond retail to offer shoppertainment – an experience that includes opportunities to win prizes, vouchers, and bonuses through programs such as Mission 11.11, One Rupee Game, in-app games, and Shake Shake.

Over 1.5 million customers have already participated in Mission 11.11, a new challenge introduced by Daraz that consists of a set of fun and easy daily tasks that customers have to complete in order to win prizes such as bonus in their Daraz Wallet and a trip to Turkey.

Daraz Wallet is the smartest way to pay on the app. Customers can enjoy exclusive bonuses, faster checkout and instant refunds in case they wish to return a product. During the 11.11 sale, Daraz is also offering 11% cash back on over 30,000 items purchased through the wallet in addition to Mega Deals available through the Daraz Wallet. In the lead up to the sale, more than a million customers had activated their wallets and over 2 million vouchers were collected.

Event co-sponsors L’Oreal Pakistan, Unilever, Nokia, Nestle, Prince DFSK, Reckitt Benckiser, P&G, and Vivo are sponsoring games on the Daraz app through which customers can win even more prizes. Daraz has partnered up with 8 leading digital payment partners – including HBL, Meezan Bank and EasyPaisa to offer customers up to an additional 25% off. Customers can also avail 15% cashback into their Daraz wallet when they load it using Easypaisa prior to 11.11 start.

On November 8th, during the 2.5-hour live 11.11 special show – hosted in collaboration with Jeeto Pakistan – Daraz witnessed a 7x increase in traffic. The 11.11 special was a revolutionary show that allowed customers to interact with celebrities through the Daraz app, play games and win prizes worth Rs 2.5 crores.

Daraz has a very secure purchase protection policy through which the platform guarantees that customers, whether they are paying cash on delivery or opting to make a digital transaction, will be safeguarded from fraud. Customers are encouraged to visit the Daraz app frequently during the sale to make the most of it. In order to make the most of the sale, customers need to download the Daraz app and activate and load up their Daraz Wallets.
