Crossover — an international platform for freelancers to get high paying jobs and for recruiting the best technical talent is now officially coming to Pakistan. The launch event is going to be held tomorrow, where Country Manager of Crossover, Atif Mumtaz, will be available for a discussion.
Some of you might be confusing this platform with Up work or Freelancer. Which is why, we are digging deeper for our readers.
Crossover doesn’t have any bidding mechanism and you are not hired for hourly basis – it is purely a full time job. Crossover team interviews the candidates through different online tests and make sure the best candidates get to work with the best companies. For example, a good Java Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands on programming experience can earn US$30/hour (US$60,000/year).
Atif Mumtaz, Country Manager of Pakistan, while talking to TechJuice mentioned,
“There are already over 50+ employees in Pakistan that work full time with Crossover. We hope that this number will grow to 200 within the next one year”
Crossover is also distinct from other platforms as it filters and hires the best talent that can be used by companies right away. The companies do not need to shortlist candidates. All that work is taken care by Crossover.
