Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced the Honhar Laptop Scheme 2025, a transformative initiative designed to empower students through access to modern technology.
As part of this program, the government plans to distribute 50,000 state-of-the-art Core-i7, 13th-generation laptops to deserving students. Additionally, 2,000 laptops will be allocated specifically for minority students, and high-achieving Matriculation and F.Sc students will also be rewarded with laptops for their academic excellence.
A total of 50,000 laptops will be provided, featuring advanced Core i7 and 13th-generation models. A total of 5,000 laptops will be made available in the first month, with the rest expected to arrive by February 20th, 2025.
Laptops will be provided to students across various disciplines, including Computer Science, Medical, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, Language, Veterinary, and Agriculture.
Eligible students can submit their applications via their respective educational institutions. Selection will be determined by academic achievement, prioritizing high-achieving students and those from minority backgrounds.
