Chinese delegation visit to Islamabad could be the breakthrough in the solar panel industry as the delegate showed a strong response to the investment in the solar energy industry.

The China-Pakistan-Economic Corridor (CPEC) high-powered delegation was invited by the Federal Minister for Industries, Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi. The Chinese delegation was impressed by the top notch industries in Pakistan like refinery mills, mining industries, cement factories and most importantly, solar panel energy sectors.

According to the current situation in Pakistan, low-cost and efficient solar energy panels might be an optimum solution for load-shedding. In fact, private organizations have been taking a keen interest in this sector.

Most of the solar energy panel companies in Pakistan have already started to build multiple solutions for the load-shedding. In response to the working companies, the Chinese investors were interested in providing low-cost and effective solar energy system, known as Photovoltaics panels.

To start the development phase of the PV panel industry, 300-acre land in Korangi Creek Industrial Park has been given to the Chinese enterprises. Mr. Ghulam Murtaza mentioned that a request has been forwarded to the Chinese businessmen for their investment in the recently developed land of 900-acres, Bin Qasim Industrial Park.
