In recent news, in accordance with a white paper issued by a Chinese company the country aims to launch 6G by 2030. According to the white paper, 6G is the next generation of mobile networks which can offer speeds up to 10 times higher than 5G’s peak speeds.
As of now, all major Chinese companies have started the proper research in order to develop a proper prototype of the technology. The white paper adds that 6G will be available for commercial usage in 2030.
This of course means that U.S will have to pick up the pace if they are to counter China in the race to claim the power of 6G as this would give China the global push they are looking to cement themselves as the global leaders in the tech industry economically.
The advancement of 6G includes applications such as immersive cloud XR, holographic communication, sensory interconnection, intelligent interactive communication, and global coverage.
