If you live in Pakistan, it’s very likely that you have booked a Careem for daily commutes or going out with friends. When you don’t feel like spending 15 minutes looking for parking, Careem is often the hassle-free way to get where you’re going.
To make this experience even smoother, Careem has just announced in a social media post that it has launched its own in-app chat service. With a few clicks, you can contact the Careem Care team for any questions, concerns or complaints and get a fast response. Using this new, in-app chat feature is super easy:
Step 1: Click on the Options menu
Step 2: Click on Help (Second-last option on your drop-down box).
Step 3: Identify your problem.
Step 4: Share the required details with your Careem Care Officer so they can facilitate you.
Careem’s new chat option aims to give you the convenience of identifying your problem in the app. This allows for a Customer Care Officer that specializes in the issue to solve the problem quickly or contact you for more details. You can also send an email through the app to the Careem Care Centre, from the moment you tap “Chalo YALLA!” to two hours after the ride has ended.
As the social media post reads;
First of all, go to the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen and click on ‘Help’.
Now tap on ‘Get Help’ and choose the option related to your problem/query.
Select your specific query and talk to Careem Care via email.
You can email your problem within app and also submit any relevant info/pictures in detail.
Since the trust and safety of Customers is paramount to Careem, any safety concerns that are reported within the app are addressed immediately. The app also includes several safety features to put your mind at ease. Call masking allows you to contact a driver (“Captains” in Careem’s terminology) without revealing your personal phone number and you can always share your ride details with family or friends.
Customers who now use Careem at least 15 times a month are awarded Gold Status, unlocking exclusive benefits. Gold Customers receive 50% more rewards points, priority customer support and access to other special offers.
Earlier this year, Careem introduced a rewards programme, giving you points with every ride and food order. The rewards points can be redeemed for credit in the apps Careem PAY wallet or donated to partners like The Citizens Foundation, UN Refugee Agency UNHCR and WWF.
Careem is well on its way to expanding into many more avenues with a new vision for a ‘Super App’, which will combine ride-hailing with food delivery, peer-to-peer payments and more. It seems like Careem is set to bring a lot more tech to Pakistan, and we are super excited for it.
