Careem Testing Drone Food Delivery In Pakistan

Careem has taken the next step in delivering food items through a new method that involves using drone technology. This would overall revolutionize how delivery is made as there would be less dependency on human effort.

According to the company, this is a way to upscale the platform to the next level. To ensure a prominent future of the Careem Drone, a test experiment was conducted where items were delivered through the drone to a small number of clients who resided in short areas. Based on the experiment, the drone lasted an entire day.

Careem further stated the following:
“Once we have finalized the feasibility and are sure that we can move this project forward to the next stage. We intend to get the relevant regulatory approvals/permissions as needed by law.”

“Careem’s mission is to use effective technology to simplify and improve people’s lives, and our brand isn’t afraid to do things differently and stand out. The drone delivery test is one example of how our teams are always developing and experimenting with new ways to excite and serve our customers.”

So far many countries have similarly implemented this method and it is expected that other fast-food chains may partner with Careem in order to further accelerate their profit.
