Bytes.pk is giving away 10,000 VR headsets absolutely free

In early 2015, we pioneered virtual reality in Pakistan and made it affordable so that anyone with a smartphone could easily experience virtual reality. A problem we have seen in the last 4 months is that there is not enough Pakistani content for virtual reality. In order to push mass adoption and promote the content creation, we have decided to give away 10,000 free virtual reality headsets on our birthday as part of the #vrpakistan campaign.

A virtual reality headset allows you to play 3D games, watch 3D movies and enter virtual worlds simply by putting your smartphone into the bytes vr headset. Imagine if you could watch 3D movies, play 3D games and tour the world’s greatest cities all with your smartphone anywhere in the world. How cool would that be?

We will give away 8,000 headsets on our website on a first come first serve basis. 2,000 will be given away in universities and schools. The bytes vr lite headset will be available to order for Rs 0. We will release stock in 3 batches so that everyone gets a chance to order. Please note that there is a limited quantity available so everyone will not be able to get one and it will probably finish in a few minutes.
