Buraq cab service to launch in six cities of Pakistan on August 10

A Chinese company named Timesaco is all set to launch its online taxi service on August 10 in six big cities of Pakistan.

The company with its Buraq service has devised a comprehensive plan to attract customers towards its newly established cab service for making it competitive since two ride-hailing services called Careem and Uber are already operating in the Pakistani market.

Timesaco Chief Operating Officer Donald Li said that the company through its cab service intends to provide a rapid services platform to Pakistani citizens by initiating five special services including taxi service, orders delivery, heavy cargo delivery, moving automated teller machines (ATM) and vehicle advertisement facilities.

In its initial stages, these instant services would be launched in the six major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar. The company will also extend this service to other urban centers as well, CEO Donald added.

Talking to APP, Li said that in the beginning, the cab service will offer a 10% discount rate for a ride to the education institution, health centers, and marriage halls. Li added that for Timesaco services, an application on the Google Play Store will be available for the users to download and avail these services in all five major areas of the country.

As for the drivers who are interested to work with Timesaco taxi services, they could register their vehicles with the company without any precondition. Buraq taxi drivers will get a 97% share of their earning and company will get only 2% from the driver’s earnings. The one percent remaining amount will be used to develop the Drivers’ Club for providing health and education services to the families of drivers.

Li also stated that interested people could register their bikes, cars, pickups, rickshaws, qinqi loaders and trucks with the company and get multiple ways for earning.

CEO Timesaco has said that to launch these five services the company is initially investing $20 million with future prospects of $600 million. The cab services would be provided in five special services in various sectors including transportation, cargo, advertising, and bank transaction, Li added.

With another cab service launching in Pakistan, citizens will have three different options to choose from when booking a cab for going somewhere. Most importantly, this service will also increase employment opportunities for citizens in the country.
