Bill Gates tops Forbes’ richest list, Mark Zuckerberg jumps to sixth place

Forbes has released the list of richest people in the world for the year 2016. Bill Gates has maintained his top position while Mark Zuckerberg jumped 10 places to climb to 6th place.

9th and 10th place is shared by Charles Koch and David Koch, brothers from France with net worth of $39.6 billion

Mark Zuckerberg’s incredible ascension to the top ten

Mark Zuckerberg has made a huge jump from 2015’s list of richest people in the world. Zuckerberg was placed 16th on 2015’s list with the net worth around $33.4 billion. In the time span of just one year, Zuckerberg has added more than $10 billion to his name. Bill Gates, while still remains the richest person, has seen a decrease in his net worth from $79.2 billion to $75 billion.
