‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is the first movie to be shot with advanced IMAX cameras

Avengers: Infinity War premiers on the 27th April and the movie is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in Marvel’s cinematic universe because of the film’s massive cast of characters as all your heroes and villains in the first mainstream movie shot entirely on IMAX cameras.

The Avengers: Infinity War brings together many of the heroes and villains introduced across all 18 Marvel movies so far, and pits them against the legions of the cosmic conqueror Thanos. Marvel and IMAX take a deep dive into the studio’s reasons for going all-in on IMAX for Infinity War, and also offers up some fresh footage from the film below.

While previous projects have utilized IMAX cameras for portions of the film, Infinity War is the first major release to be filmed in its entirety that way and will be shown in the expanded 1.9:1 aspect ratio in IMAX theaters. “IMAX” is a 70 mm motion picture film format that displays images of greater size and resolution than conventional film systems.

For comic fans as well as people who don’t know about Avengers, this is Marvel production introduced in 2012, and this part of the movie is the final one.Avengers: Infinity War includes just about every star of the Marvel movie universe so far, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman, Mark Ruffalo, and many, many more familiar faces we have seen over the years.

IMAX cinema technology was developed by Graeme Ferguson, Roman Kroitor, Robert Kerr, and William C. Shaw in the late 1960s in Canada. There are various IMAX cinemas in Pakistan. IMAX Cinestar in Lahore was the first one to introduce the IMAX cinema in Pakistan and later many cinema houses followed this trend including the Universal Cinemas Lahore, Cinepax Cinemas, Sozo World Lahore and many more, introduced IMAX cinemas in Pakistan.

Pakistan is one of the few countries in the world to have the IMAX theatre, so are you ready to watch “Avengers Infinity War” in your nearest IMAX cinema.

I personally have bought the tickets of “Avengers Infinity War” beforehand, Have you bought the tickets? Let us know in the comments below.
