An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has awarded a 24-year jail sentence as well as a fine of 0.7 million to a cyberstalker. Abdul Wahab, the stalker in question, has been responsible for blackmailing and harassing nearly 200 women which include house officers and trainees of King Edward Medical University, Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Children Hospital, Lahore.
The culprit used to introduce himself as a military official whereas he was arrested on charges of blackmailing as well as hacking WhatsApp accounts. Around 31 witnesses recorded the statement against him and the judge announced the verdict given below:
