3 Days Left to Apply for The StartUp Gen – Pakistan’s First Digital Reality Show for Startups

Date – 19^th September 2019: The Centrum Media (TCM), Pakistan’s first ever digital news network, in collaboration with Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) announced Pakistan’s First Digital Reality Show for Startups – The StartUp Gen. This reality show will be held in Islamabad and the winner will get a fully funded chance to showcase themselves at Barcelona’s biggest startup conference (4YFN) in 2020. This digitally tailored show for the digital entrepreneurial environment of Pakistan offers a viewership of more than 20 million.

The Startup Gen promises to not only recognize the upcoming potential businesses all over Pakistan, but also to document their entire journey at the show, which will work as a guiding beacon for startups in terms of how to pitch, how to make simple ideas into money-makers.

The show will be a perfect blend of the startup ecosystem of Pakistan and reality TV. The startups can apply through The Startup Gen website (www.thestartupgen.com) before 24th September,2019. Over 20 shortlisted startups will then be interviewed from across Pakistan. The 8 selected teams will attend a Pitch Camp in Islamabad from 24th-28th October 2019. The grand finale will determine which startup wins the Startup Gen 2019 and travels to Barcelona in February 2020.
