The Hatchery is Pakistan’s sole incubator providing mentorship and sustainable business practices for startup ideas related to poverty alleviation and rural development. The incubator has opened applications for its 4th incubation cycle for everyone. It is looking for passionate social innovators who are big on ideas but lack in means and necessary experience to realize their vision.
The Hatchery is an incubator from Social Innovation Lab at LUMS which is an initiative designed to encourage and educate social innovators, offering them a testing ground for their initiatives, combining humanistic knowledge with sustainable business practices.
The Hatchery’s incubation cycle consists of four phases through which they nurture and develop the incubate’s business plans from ideation to implementation. Until the third cycle, they were targeting educational institutions in specific but for their 4th incubation cycle, they have opened applications for everyone.
Check out the video of Maryam Mohiuddin, Director, Social Innovation Lab, sharing her views about the incubation cycle.
