If you think that Apple only has an expensive range of flagship models which most of us can’t afford, then you might be wrong. Apple released its mid-range iPhone SE, back in 2016, which is now coming in $450. The mini iPhone with its 4-inch screen and exceptional performance was a fascination for many users. Earlier reports suggested the launch of the phone in early 2018, and now it appears that Cupertino based tech giant is expediting the launch of the smartphone in March.
No information about the phone’s launch or specifications has been confirmed by the company, so take everything with a pinch of salt. Rumors suggest that the successor of iPhone SE will have a glass back similar to the iPhone 8 series and iPhone X, but of course, will lack the 3D sensing capabilities of iPhone X. Apple’s next iPhone SE model might feature an A10 Fusion chip, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB or 128GB of storage capacities. The battery will also get a slight upgrade from the previous model and is likely to be of 1,700 mAh.
In 2017, Apple didn’t introduce a new model of iPhone SE, but it doubled the available storage capacities to 64GB and 128GB in March 2017. So by far, 2018 seems to be a perfect time for launching this budget-friendly smartphone.
The phone’s camera is also expected to get a major upgrade and it will also be capable of making at least 2160p@30fps videos and will come with iOS 11 out of the box. Keeping the Apple’s support strategy in mind, we can say for sure that the device will be supported for software updates for at least 4 years.
Given that the company has dashed hope for its users as it appeared in the recent #batterygate scandal, where some of the loyal users of the company are already planning to shift to Android, iPhone SE 2 can become the driving force for the company to generate sales.
