Apple’s smartphone business might not be going so well but it seems that Apple has a plan to overcome that.
According to a recent statement from the CEO of Apple himself, Apple could be venturing into an entirely new sector and that too with its full might. While giving an interview for CNBC, Tim Cook mentioned that the Cupertino-based tech giant would be announcing a set of new services later this year. To be included in the Services and Health sector, these new services would reportedly be of a big magnitude and could even be counted among one of the greatest contributions from Apple towards mankind.
“On services, you will see us announce new services this year. There will more things coming. I don’t wanna tell you about what they are and I’m not gonna forecast precisely, the ramps and so forth. But they’re things that we feel really great about, that we’ve been working on for multiple years.”, Tim Cook said on CNBC’s Mad Money.
Tim Cook further mentioned that in future when the world would look at the biggest contribution of Apple to mankind, it would be from health. Tim Cook refused to go into further details, although he did mention that the company has been working on for some years now.
For quite some time now, Apple has started focusing on the Health segment. The progress mostly drives from Apple’s work in its Watch section. Apart from that, the company’s iPhone business has seen decline very recently along with a stock plunge of the company.
