Apple is about to make its customers happy with a new iPhone color this time. This seems to spice things up as the new color of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus is rumored to be “Red”, as we previously saw in iPhone 7 and 7 plus. According to a memo obtained by MacRumors, Apple will be announcing red versions of iPhone 8 and 8 plus this week. We are not sure when they will start shipping the red iPhones, although surprisingly we have not heard iPhone X’s name in the addition of colors.
For iPhone X’s lovers, you might have to be content with the existing color options. It’s not that surprising as iPhone X is an expensive smartphone and it would be tougher to sell it in a special edition color. We wouldn’t rule out any colors completely, Apple might release another premier color for its favorite iPhone X. The latest iPhone was certainly the first iPhone in years to launch without a gold color option, so one could say that Apple might introduce the gold option for iPhone X.
Apple is pursuing the strategy to put its smartphones back in the spotlight by rolling out new colors and attract new buyers with more options. Although it is not going to have the same effect as introducing a new iPhone, still it would keep the sales of iPhone 8 more steady.
On the other hand, there have been multiple rumors about how the future iPhones will be like, the versions of iPhone we are expecting are iPhone 11, iPhone 11S and there will be a big brother of iPhone X dubbed as iPhone X plus. These smartphones are expected to have a lower price tag with a comparatively big size of iPhone X. The 6.1-inch LCD iPhone would be generating most of the sales for Apple and it is expected to look very much like a Gold iPhone X and will include Face ID and slimmer bezels.
