Apple to reopen iPhone X bookings from November 4 globally

Apple started taking preorders for iPhone X last week but the increased demand of iPhone X resulted in consumption of its first stock within an hour. As to resolve suspected production issues in future Apple will start accepting early reservations for the iPhone X for its walk-in customers starting from November 4 from all around the world except the US.

The Reserve and Pickup option has been introduced by the company. Customers can reserve any variant of the iPhone X they like and then pick it up from their nearest Apple retail store after paying for it. For verification purposes, the customer is required to show an identification card issued by the government.

After reserving the handset, it must be picked up within 30 minutes otherwise the reservation will be canceled. The variant of iPhone X you reserve will depend on its availability and vary by location and stores.

As for now, Apple has no plans of offering the Reserve and Pickup option for the iPhone X in the United States.

The company will offer the Reserve and Pickup option to its customers in Australia, Belgium, and the United Kingdom from 6:00 a.m. on November 4, while in Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates, the option will be available from 8:00 a.m.

The Reserve and Pickup option is a nice way to bypass the 5-6 weeks wait time that is currently there for the iPhone X if one orders it from Apple’s online store. The iPhone X went up for pre-order last week on October 27 and will hit the retail stores on November 3. iPhone X will be available to purchase from local retailers in Pakistan by the end of this month and the expected price of Apple iPhone X in Pakistan is PKR 1,20,000.
